# How to Enable In-Game Event Colors in Ark

> Enable seasonal events and force colored dinosaur spawns on your Ark: Survival Evolved server. Learn how to refresh world spawns for new event palettes.

## Seasonal Colors & Events

Seasonal events in Ark: Survival Evolved (ASE), such as *Winter Wonderland*, *Fear Evolved*, and *Easter Egg-Cellent*, bring more than just new mechanics and items. They introduce rare and vibrant color palettes to the dinosaur population, making exploration and taming even more rewarding. This guide explains how to activate these events on your server at any time of the year.

## How to Toggle Events

You can enable an event by using the specialized input field in your server's startup configuration.

  <Step title="Access Startup Settings">
    Log in to your [Game Panel](https://panel.freakhosting.com), select your Ark server, and navigate to the **Startup** tab.

  <Step title="Enter Event Name">
    Locate the **Active Event** field and enter one of the following exact event names:

    * `WinterWonderland` (Winter/Christmas)
    * `Easter` (Easter Egg-Cellent)
    * `FearEvolved` (Halloween)
    * `Summer` (Summer Bash)
    * `TurkeyTrial` (Thanksgiving)
    * `LoveEvolved` (Valentine's Day)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save and Restart">
    Click outside the field to ensure the setting is saved, then **Restart** your server via the Console.

## Applying Colors to the World

Simply enabling an event will not change the colors of dinosaurs already standing in the world. To see the new event colors, you must refresh the wild creature population.

  <Step title="Log in as Admin">
    Join your server and authenticate as an administrator using `enablecheats YourPassword`.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Execute Wipe Command">
    Open the console (**TAB**) and type the following command:

    ```bash theme={null}
    cheat destroywilddinos
    ```

  <Step title="Wait for Respawn">
    Existing wild dinosaurs will be removed instantly. Over the next few minutes, new dinosaurs will spawn, and a percentage of them will feature the rare event color palette.
