# How to Install Content Manager & CSP for Assetto Corsa

## Modernizing Assetto Corsa

Although originally released in 2014, Assetto Corsa remains a top-tier racing simulator thanks to two revolutionary community projects: **Content Manager** and the **Custom Shaders Patch (CSP)**. These tools are no longer considered "optional" mods; they are mandatory requirements for joining most modern servers and enjoying high-fidelity visuals.

## Step 1: Content Manager (The Launcher)

Content Manager replaces the slow vanilla launcher with a high-performance, feature-rich interface that allows for rapid server searching and mod management.

## Step 2: Custom Shaders Patch (CSP)
