# DST Dedicated Server Not Showing in Browse Games: Fixes

> DST dedicated server not showing in Browse Games? Check the console for a Klei token error, search the exact name, reset filters or join with c_connect.

If your Don't Starve Together dedicated server isn't showing in **Browse Games**, first check the Game Panel console for `E_INVALID_TOKEN`: without a valid Klei cluster token the server never starts, even if the panel shows **Online**. Then search for your exact **Server name** and clear the list filters. You can always join directly with `c_connect("203.0.113.10", 10999, "password")`.

## How to make your server appear in Browse Games

**1. Check the console for token errors**

Open the [console](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-use-the-server-console.md) and look for `E_INVALID_TOKEN` or `!!!! Your Server Will Not Start !!!!`. If you see either, paste a valid token into **Server Token** on **Startup** and restart. **2. Let the server finish starting**

Don't rely on the **Online** badge alone. Watch the console until the start-up output stops and no error appears.

**3. Search by name**

In the game, click **Browse Games** and type your **Server name** into the search. The list is long, so searching is faster than scrolling.

**4. Clear the filters**

Open the filters in **Browse Games** and reset them. A filter that hides password-protected or modded servers also hides yours if it has a **Server password** or mods.

## How to join without the server list

Players can join directly with the game console. In Don't Starve Together, press `~` on the main menu and type:

```lua theme={null}
c_connect("203.0.113.10", 10999, "yourpassword")
```

Use your own server IP and game port from the Game Panel. If your server has no password, leave the last part out: `c_connect("203.0.113.10", 10999)`.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why does my DST server show Online in the panel but not in the game?

The panel shows that the server process is running. If the Klei token is missing or wrong, the game stops before the world loads, so it never appears in **Browse Games**. Check the console for `E_INVALID_TOKEN`.

### Do I need a token for my server to be listed?

Yes. An online Don't Starve Together dedicated server needs a valid Klei cluster token to start and be listed.

### My friends can't find the server but I can. Why?

Check that everyone has the latest game version and that their filters don't hide your server. Ask them to search for the exact name or join with `c_connect`.

### What if the server version doesn't match the game?

When Klei releases an update, your game and the server must be on the same version. Turn on **Auto-update server** on the **Startup** page, then restart the server. If it still doesn't match, [open a ticket](https://freakhosting.com/clientarea/submitticket.php).
