# Enshrouded Server Not Showing in the List? How to Find It

> Enshrouded server not showing in the list? Turn on Show dedicated servers, search by name, or add it as a Steam favourite with your IP and query port.

If your Enshrouded server isn't showing in the list, open **Join** in Enshrouded and turn on **Show dedicated servers** in the server filter on the right, then search for your exact server name. If it still doesn't appear, add it as a favourite in Steam: **View** > **Game Servers** > **Favorites** > **+**, and enter your server IP with the query port, for example `203.0.113.10:9877`.

## How to find your server in the Enshrouded list

**1. Check the server is ready**

Open the [console](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-use-the-server-console.md) and wait for `[Session] finished transition from 'Lobby' to 'Host_Online'`. A server that is still starting isn't listed yet.

**2. Show dedicated servers**

In Enshrouded, click **Join**. In the server filter on the right, turn on **Show dedicated servers**.

**3. Search by name**

Type part of your **Server name** in the search. If you changed the name, make sure you restarted the server afterwards.

**4. Join**

Select the server, click **Join** and enter the password. Click the star to make it a favourite.

## How to add your server as a Steam favourite

Use this when the server doesn't appear in the in-game list.

**1. Get your IP and query port**

Copy the server address in the [Game Panel](https://games.freakhosting.com) and keep only the IP. Open **Startup** and note **\[SERVER] Steam Query Port**.

**2. Open Steam's server list**

In the Steam client, click **View** > **Game Servers**.

**3. Add the favourite**

Open the **Favorites** tab, click **+** and enter `IP:query port`, for example `203.0.113.10:9877`.

**4. Join from Enshrouded**

Start Enshrouded and click **Join**. Your favourite is at the top of the list.

> Use the query port, not the port in the server address. Enshrouded's server list works with the query port.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I join an Enshrouded server by IP in game?

Keen Games' way to join by IP is a Steam favourite: add `IP:query port` in Steam, and the server shows at the top of the in-game list.

### Why did my server disappear after I renamed it?

The new name only applies after a restart, and the list then shows the new name. Search for the new name.

### Does a password hide my server?

No. Servers with a password are still listed. Players need the password to join.
