# How to Update Your Enshrouded Dedicated Server

## Maintaining Technical Version Parity

Counter-Strike 2 and Enshrouded share a high-frequency developmental lifecycle during their respective Early Access phases. To prevent "Version Mismatch" disconnections and ensure your community has access to the latest biome improvements, stability patches, and functional items, your server node must be synchronized with the official Valve branch. ## Technical Update Procedure

Follow these steps to authorize a manual binary validation and update on your instance.

    The server will transition to an `Updating` status. Open the **Console** tab to view the real-time progress of the validation check:

    Once the download concludes, the server will return to an `Online` or `Offline` state. Proceed to **Start** the server to initialize the updated engine.
