# ETS2 Server Not Showing in the Convoy List: Fixes

> ETS2 server not showing in the Convoy browser? Wait for Session running, search the exact lobby name or search ID, check the game version, mods and password.

If your Euro Truck Simulator 2 server isn't showing in the Convoy list, first check the Game Panel console shows `[MP] Session running.`. Then search the Convoy browser for your exact **Lobby name**: SCS's browser only lists sessions in your own region unless you search by exact name. You can also search by the server's search ID. Full sessions may not be listed.

## How to make your ETS2 server easy to find

**1. Check the server is running**

Open the [console](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-use-the-server-console.md) and look for:

[MP] Session running.
[MP] State: running;  Time: 1286;  Players: 0
```

**2. Check the name**

The line `[MP] Session name:` shows the name players must search. Change it with **Lobby name** on **Startup** and restart.

**3. Search by exact name**

In Euro Truck Simulator 2, open **Convoy** and type the exact session name in the browser's search. SCS's Convoy FAQ says this finds sessions in any region.

**4. Or search by search ID**

SCS's dedicated server shows a search ID when it starts. Players can enter it in the browser's search. Add a Steam logon token so the ID stays the same after restarts.

## Found it, but can't join?

## Frequently asked questions

### Why can my friend see the server but I can't?

You are probably in different regions. The Convoy browser lists sessions from your own region; search the exact lobby name to find it from anywhere.

### Do I need to open ports for my ETS2 server?

No. Your FREAKHOSTING server already has its ports (27015 and 27016 by default). You don't forward anything on your home router to join.

### Why does the search ID change every restart?

The server logs on anonymously (`[MP] LogOn Anonymous`), which gives a new, non-persistent ID. Add a Steam logon token to keep it.
