# How to Configure Prospect Settings in ICARUS

> Set up persistent open world sessions or timed prospects on your ICARUS server. Configure session types, timers, difficulty modifiers, and lobby settings.

## Introduction

Icarus Dedicated Servers allow you to run persistent "Open World" prospects or "Outposts".

The configuration is handled via `ServerSettings.ini`.

## Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to `/Icarus/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/` (or LinuxServer).
2. Open `ServerSettings.ini`.
3. **SessionName:** "FREAKHOSTING World".
4. **JoinPassword:** Set strict.
5. **AdminPassword:** Set strict.

## Difficulty Tuning

Icarus doesn't use a simple "Easy/Hard" switch. You modify `ExperienceMultiplier`.

* `GlobalExperienceMultiplier=1.5` (50% faster leveling).

## Conclusion

Keep backups of the `/Saved/` folder. Icarus writes to disk frequently.
