# How to Resume Prospects in ICARUS

> Understand how ICARUS server sessions work as lobbies, manage prospect timers, and learn how to resume interrupted missions without losing player progress.

## Introduction

Your dedicated server "Session" is a Lobby.

Players can leave and rejoin.
But if the Prospect Timer expires (7 days), the session ends.

## Open World

For Open World, timer is infinite. Ensure you are running `OpenWorld` mode, not a Mission.

## Conclusion

Check the `Prospects` json to extend timers if needed.
