# How to Force Seasonal Events in KF2

> Force seasonal events like Summer Sideshow or Christmas Crackdown on your KF2 server year-round to unlock themed Zed skins, maps, and event rewards.

> Killing Floor 2 features a variety of seasonal events that transform the Zeds into festive variants (e.g., Gingerbread Men, Clowns, or Cyber-Infected). While these events usually happen automatically on specific dates, you can force any theme to be active at any time through the server's startup parameters.

## 1. Event Codes

To force a specific theme, you must use the `?Event=` flag in your **Startup Arguments**:

* **0:** None (Standard Zeds)
* **1:** Summer Sideshow (Clowns/Circus)
* **2:** Halloween Horrors
* **3:** Christmas Crackshot (Winter/Sledges)

## 2. Implementation

1. Access your FREAKHOSTING dashboard and navigate to the **Startup** tab.
2. Locate the **Additional Arguments** or **Event** field.
3. Apply the code (e.g., `?Event=1` for Summer).
4. Restart the server.

  ### Automatic Rotation

  If you leave the event code at `0` (or empty), the server will automatically sync with Tripwire's backend. This means your server will display Christmas Zeds in December and Halloween Zeds in October without any manual intervention.
