The game still feels like Minecraft. * **Love automation and long progression?** ATM10 or Craftoria give you hundreds of hours of machines and quests. * **Want a story?** Prominence II has an RPG world with quests and bosses. * **Pokémon fans?** COBBLEVERSE is built on the Cobblemon mod. * **Older PC in the group?** Light packs run better for players too, not just the server. > [!NOTE] > > Every player needs the same modpack and version on their own game. They can install it with the CurseForge app, the Modrinth app, the FTB app or a launcher such as Prism Launcher. *** ## How to install a modpack on your server **1. Open Modpacks** Open your server in the [Game Panel](https://games.freakhosting.com) and click **Modpacks**. **2. Pick a version** Click the pack, then **Install** next to a version. Check the options and install** Keep **Back up the server first** on. Switch on **Accept EULA** only if you have read and accept the [Minecraft EULA](https://www.minecraft.net/eula). Click **Install modpack**. The panel installs the right Minecraft version and loader through **Version Changer** and skips client-only files. After installing, note the pack name and version from the **Modpack installed** message, for example "Vanilla Perfected 1.0.0+26.3". 2. Share it with your players, for example in your Discord. 3. Players install that version in the CurseForge app, Modrinth app, FTB app or Prism Launcher. 4. When you update the pack on the server, tell players to update too. *** ## Frequently asked questions ### Why can't I install a modpack version? The version has no server pack on CurseForge. The dialog says **This version has no server pack on CurseForge, so it cannot be installed on a server.** Pick another version, or check whether the pack is also on Modrinth. ### Can I add mods to a modpack? Yes, on the **Mods** page. Players must add the same mods to their game if the mods add content. Keep a backup, because extra mods can clash with the pack. ### Can I switch modpacks without losing my world? The worlds of different modpacks are not compatible: blocks and items from mods that are missing disappear. Make a backup and start a fresh world for a new pack. ### What does "Downloads disabled by the author" mean? The author has switched off downloads by other apps. Download the file from CurseForge yourself and upload it in **Files**. ### Which modpack uses the least RAM? Light vanilla-plus packs such as Vanilla Perfected.
