# How to Configure ACL.xml in MTA

> Configure ACL.xml on your MTA:SA server to assign admin, moderator, and user permission groups that control who can execute specific server commands.

## Introduction

The ACL controls who is Admin, SuperModerator, or User.

## Adding Admin

1. Find group "Admin".
2. Add object:
   `<object name="user.YourUsername" />`
3. *Note:* You must register in-game with `/register YourUsername YourPass` first.

## Conclusion

The ACL is powerful. You can restrict specific functions (`command.ban`) to specific groups.
