# RedM Server Hosting Guide: Setup, OneSync, VORP and Fixes

This RedM server guide lists every FREAKHOSTING help page for RedM, the Cfx.re multiplayer platform for Red Dead Redemption 2. Your server runs FXServer, the same server program as FiveM, so the RedM pages in the Game Panel sit under the **FIVEM** group: **Server config**, **Resources** and **Artifacts**. New here? ## Frequently asked questions

### Is RedM the same as FiveM?

Both are made by Cfx.re and use the same server program, FXServer. RedM is for Red Dead Redemption 2, FiveM for GTA V. That is why the RedM pages in the panel are grouped under **FIVEM**.

### Do I need a licence key for RedM?

Yes. Without a valid key the server stops while it starts. The key is free from the [Cfx.re Portal](https://portal.cfx.re). See [how to get a RedM licence key](https://help.freakhosting.com/games/redm/how-to-get-a-redm-license-key.md).

### Can I run VORP on my RedM server?

### How do players join my RedM server?
