# How to Set Up a RedM Peak Server

> Set up a RedM server from scratch using CitizenFX for Red Dead Redemption 2 multiplayer. Configure server settings, resources, and database connections.

## Introduction

RedM (Red Dead Redemption 2 Roleplay) is built on the same "CitizenFX" framework as FiveM.

## Setup

1. **License Key:** Get it from Keymaster (select RedM server type).
2. **Artifacts:** Use RedM artifacts (not FiveM).
3. **Gamemode:** "VORP" or "RedEM" are the two main frameworks.

## Config

`server.cfg` structure is identical to FiveM.
`ensure vorp_core`
`ensure vorp_inventory`

## Conclusion

RedM is heavier than FiveM. Ensure your server has at least 8GB RAM allocated.
