# How to Customize the Lobby Waiting Screen in SCP:SL

> Customize the lobby waiting screen on your SCP:SL server by editing the waiting area, player count thresholds, and round start countdown timer settings.

`lobby_countdown: 10`.

## Text

You can't change the "Waiting for players" text in vanilla easily. Requires Exiled plugins to display "Welcome to FREAKHOSTING" in lobby.
