# SCP: Secret Laboratory Remote Admin Commands (Full List)

> SCP: Secret Laboratory Remote Admin commands: ban, broadcast, cassie, hp, setgroup, config reload and more, with syntax and the permission each command needs.

SCP: Secret Laboratory Remote Admin commands are typed in the text-based Remote Admin, which you open from the button at the bottom of the RA panel (press **M** in game). Each command needs a permission, for example `broadcast <length> <text>` needs **Broadcasting** (BRC). Doors, the warhead, giving items and class changes are buttons in the RA panel, not text commands.

## Before you start

* Your account needs a role in `config_remoteadmin.txt`. See [make yourself admin](https://help.freakhosting.com/games/scp-secret-laboratory/scp-secret-laboratory-configuring-remoteadmin-ra.md).
* Player IDs are the numbers shown next to names in the RA player list. Separate several IDs with a dot, for example `5.7`.

## Moderation commands

Example: `broadcast 10 Round restarts in 1 minute` shows the message to everyone for 10 seconds.

## Commands anyone can use

| `contact` | Shows the server's contact address |

## What is done with buttons instead of commands?

| Open, close, lock, unlock, destroy doors | **Map Control** (needs FCM) |
| Lock every door | **Lockdown** |
| Change a player's class | Role management: pick players and a class, then **SET CLASS** |
| Give items | Inventory: pick players and an item, then **REQUEST** |
| Restart the round | **Restart Round** (needs ERO) |
| Start, stop or detonate the warhead | **Warhead Start**, **Warhead Stop**, **Detonate** (needs EWA) |

## Frequently asked questions

### Why does RA say there is no such command?

The command name is wrong, the action is a button rather than a command, or a plugin that adds the command is not loaded. Type `help` to list the commands your server knows.

### How do I reload the config without a restart?

Run `config reload` in Remote Admin (needs the **ServerConfigs** permission). Some changes still need a full [restart](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-start-stop-and-restart-your-game-server.md).

### What is a player ID in SCP:SL?

The number shown next to a player's name in the RA player list. Commands such as `hp` and `disarm` use it. It is not the player's SteamID64.

### Do EXILED plugins add commands?

Yes. Plugins can add their own Remote Admin commands and permissions. Check the plugin's instructions.
