How to Fix It > SCP:SL server not showing in the server list? Only verified servers are listed. Join by IP with direct connect, verify your server and fix the name. An SCP: Secret Laboratory server only appears in the in-game server browser once Northwood has verified it. Until then, players join with the server's IP and port, for example `203.0.113.10:7777`, using the browser's option to connect directly by IP. Find your address** In the Game Panel, copy your server's IP and port, for example `203.0.113.10:7777`. **2. Open the server browser** Start SCP: Secret Laboratory and open the server browser. **3. Connect directly** Use the button to connect directly to a server by IP and enter the address with the port. ## How to fix a name that breaks search **1. Open Game settings** Click **Game settings** and go to **Server name** in **Server**. **2. Retype the name** Remove percentage sizes such as ``. Use plain English letters, and fixed sizes such as `` if you need them. **3. Save and restart** Click **Review and save**, save and [restart the server](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-start-stop-and-restart-your-game-server.md). ## Frequently asked questions ### Do unverified SCP:SL servers show in the list? No. The official server browser shows verified servers. Anyone can still join an unverified server by IP and port. ### Can I make my server private instead? Yes. Don't verify it and share the address only with your players, or turn on the [whitelist](https://help.freakhosting.com/games/scp-secret-laboratory/how-to-whitelist-players-on-scp-secret-laboratory.md). ### My server was listed before. Why did it disappear? A server that is offline for more than 14 days in a row loses its verification, and a verified server with more than 60 slots is removed from the list.
