This Terraria server hosting guide lists every FREAKHOSTING help page for Terraria. Your server runs the official vanilla Terraria dedicated server. You change it on the **Game settings** page under **GAME SETTINGS** in the Game Panel, on the **Startup** page, or in `serverconfig.txt`. Your server runs vanilla Terraria, so TShock, its plugins and tModLoader mods aren't installed. For a TShock or modded (tModLoader) server, [open a ticket](https://freakhosting.com/clientarea/submitticket.php). ### How do players join my Terraria server? In Terraria, choose **Multiplayer**, then **Join via IP**, pick a character, and enter your server's IP and port (7777 by default). New worlds use **Journey** unless you change **World difficulty** before the world is created.
