# How to Configure Servant Missions in V Rising

> Speed up servant hunts and increase loot yields on your V Rising server to accelerate passive resource gathering and endgame progression for your players.

> Vampire Servants act as your passive gathering force, venturing out into Vardoran to collect resources while you sleep. By default, these missions can take up to 24 hours to complete. For faster-paced servers, adjusting these timers is essential to keep resource income flowing.

## Optimization Settings

These variables are found in the `/save-data/Settings/ServerGameSettings.json` file.

### 1. Reducing Mission Time

* **Variable:** `"ServantMissionTimeModifier": 1.0`
* **Tweak:** Set to `0.2`.
* **Effect:** A 0.2 modifier is a 5x speed increase. A standard 24-hour hunt will now only take \~4.8 hours, allowing players to send servants out multiple times per day.

### 2. Increasing Loot

* **Variable:** `"ServantMissionDropsModifier": 1.0`
* **Tweak:** Set to `2.0` or `3.0`.
* **Effect:** Servants return with double or triple the amount of loot, making high-risk missions to areas like Silverlight Hills much more rewarding.

### 3. Faster Conversion

* **Variable:** `"ServantConvertRateModifier": 1.0`
* **Tweak:** Set to `5.0`.
* **Effect:** Significantly reduces the time a human thrall must spend in the Servant Coffin before they are broken to your will.
