# How to Become Admin in V Rising

> Authenticate as admin in V Rising to unlock the SuperUser console for spawning items, banning players, teleporting, and executing server management commands.

> Server Admins in V Rising have access to the console command suite. This allows for item spawning, instant teleportation, observing players invisibly, and banning toxic users. Authorization relies on your SteamID64.

## Authentication Steps

### 1. Server-Side Configuration

1. Navigate to `/save-data/Settings/`.
2. Open or create the file named `adminlist.txt`.
3. Paste your 17-digit **SteamID64** on the first line. (Find this via steamid.io).
4. Save the file and **Restart the Server**.

### 2. Client-Side Enablement

1. Launch V Rising on your PC.
2. Go to **Options** > **General**.
3. Check the box for **Console Enabled**.

### 3. In-Game Authorization

1. Connect to your server.
2. Press the tilde key (`~` or `` ` ``) to open the console.
3. Type the command: `AdminAuth`
4. If successful, the system will reply: "Admin Privileges Granted."

## Essential Commands

| :--------------------- | :------------------------------------------------- |
| `give [name] [amount]` | Spawns items into your inventory.                  |
| `teleport [User]`      | Teleports you to a specific player.                |
| `toggleobservermode`   | Turns you invisible and allows flying (Spectator). |
| `bancharacter [Name]`  | Bans a character from the server.                  |
