# V Rising Dedicated Server Guide: Setup, Settings and Fixes

This V Rising dedicated server guide lists every FREAKHOSTING help page for V Rising. Your server runs the official V Rising dedicated server. Host settings such as name, password and save name are **Startup** variables in the Game Panel; game rules such as clan size, raid times and teleporting live in `save-data/Settings/ServerGameSettings.json`, which you edit in the File Manager. ## Frequently asked questions

### Where do I change V Rising server settings?

### Can I use RCON on my V Rising server?

RCON is not usable out of the box on our servers. If you need it, [open a ticket](https://freakhosting.com/clientarea/submitticket.php).

### Does my V Rising server update itself?

Yes, while **Automatic Updates** is on. The server checks for updates each time it starts.
