# How to Use Ghost Mode & Debugfly in Valheim

> By default, Valheim dedicated servers restrict advanced commands like "fly" or "ghost" to singleplayer sessions only. Even if you are listed in the `adminlist.txt`, the standard game engine prevents these "cheats" for security reasons. This guide explains how to bypass these locks safely.

## Enabling Admin Commands

To use flight or invisibility on a multiplayer server, you must install a specific middleware mod on both the server and your local client.

1. **Install Mod:** Download and install the **"Server Devcommands"** mod (by JereKuusela).
2. **Setup Admin:** Ensure your SteamID64 is added to the server's `adminlist.txt`.
3. **Login:** In-game, open your console (**F5**) and type `devcommands`.
4. **Activate Features:** Use `debugmode` to toggle advanced shortcuts.

## Command Shortcuts

Once `debugmode` is active, you can use these hotkeys:

* **Z Key:** Toggle Flight (Fly/Debugfly).
* **B Key:** Toggle No-Cost Building (Build anything for free).
* **K Key:** Kill all nearby hostile entities.
* **`ghost` Command:** Makes you invisible to enemies; they will ignore your presence.
