# How to Manage Your Account Details

> Update your personal information, billing address, default payment method, language, and Discord/PayPal IDs on the FREAKHOSTING My Account page.

## Keeping Your Profile Up to Date

Your account details power your invoices, billing communication, and login recovery. Keeping them accurate ensures invoices are addressed correctly and that you never miss an important notification.

## Opening Your Account Details

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Account Menu">
    Click your **name** at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select My Account">
    Choose **My Account** to open the [Account Details](https://freakhosting.com/clientarea/clientarea.php?action=details) page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Edit a Section">
    Each section has its own **Update Your Details** form. Make your changes and save.

## What You Can Update

| Section                  | Details                                                                                  |
| :----------------------- | :--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Personal Information** | First/last name, company, email address, and phone number.                               |
| **Billing Address**      | Street address, city, state/region, ZIP code, and country.                               |
| **Billing Preferences**  | Default payment method, default billing contact, and interface language.                 |
| **Discord & PayPal IDs** | Your Discord ID for community features and a PayPal ID for affiliate commission payouts. |
| **Email Preferences**    | Choose which account, billing, and service emails you receive.                           |

  The **Payment Method** you set here is used by default for new orders. You can still choose a different method at checkout for any individual order.

## Tips for Accurate Records
