# How to Order a New Service

> Order a game server, VPS, dedicated server or web hosting from the FREAKHOSTING Billing Area: choose a plan, configure it, and check out.

This guide walks you through ordering any FREAKHOSTING service, from picking a plan to paying for it. Most services are set up automatically within minutes of payment.

## Place an order

**1. Open the store**

Click **Order New Services** on the Home dashboard, or go to [**Services → Order New Services**](https://freakhosting.com/clientarea/cart.php) in the left menu.

**2. Choose a category**

Pick a category from **Categories** on the left, such as **Website Hosting**, **Game Hosting**, **Premium VPS**, **Extreme VPS**, **Budget VPS** or one of the **Dedicated Servers** ranges.

**3. Choose a plan**

Compare the plans and click **Order Now** on the one you want. Each card shows the specs, the monthly price and how much you save by paying yearly.

**4. Choose a domain (web hosting only)**

For web hosting, choose **Register a new domain**, **Transfer your domain from another registrar**, or **I will use my existing domain and update my nameservers**.

**5. Configure your service**

On the **Configure** page, set:

* **Choose Billing Cycle**: 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. Longer terms cost less per month.
* **Configurable Options**: such as **Location** and extra **IP Addresses**.
* **Additional Information**: for example the **Initial Operating System** and an optional **SSH key** for a VPS.

The **Order Summary** on the right updates as you go. Click **Continue**.

**6. Review your cart**

On **Review & Checkout**, check your items. Use **Edit** to change an item, the **×** to remove it, or **Empty Cart** to start again. Have a promo code? Enter it under **Apply Promo Code** and click **Validate Code**. Click **Checkout**.

**7. Check out**

On **Checkout**:

* Confirm the account the order is for under **Choose Account**.
* If you have **account credit**, choose whether to apply it.
* Choose a payment method: **Stripe** or **Revolut** (card), **PayPal**, **Coinify** or **Coingate** (crypto), or **Bank Direct Debit**. See [Accepted Payment Methods](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/billing/accepted-payment-methods.md).
* Read the [Terms of Service](https://freakhosting.com/legal).
* Add any **Additional Notes** for our team.
* Tick **I have read and agree to the Terms of Service**.

Click **Complete Order** and finish the payment.

> Game servers, VPS and web hosting are usually set up automatically within minutes of payment. Dedicated servers are prepared by our team and can take longer.
