# How to Check Your Game Server's CPU, Memory and Network History

> Use the Statistics page in the FREAKHOSTING Game Panel to see your server's CPU, memory, network, uptime and disk use over the last hour up to the last 30 days.

The **Statistics** page shows how your server has used its resources over time. It helps you spot lag, memory problems or a server that keeps restarting.

## Open Statistics

Open your server from the [dashboard](https://games.freakhosting.com), then click **Statistics** in the sidebar.

![Statistics page with 1h, 6h, 24h, 7d and 30d buttons, Players, CPU, Uptime and Disk tiles, CPU and Memory charts, a Network chart and a View as a table link](https://mintcdn.com/freakhostingltd/q82wyXmBFQWqJ0i4/images/game-panel/statistics.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=q82wyXmBFQWqJ0i4\&q=85\&s=c63321b294ec464f8f12541821f3abcd)

## Choose a time range

Click **1h**, **6h**, **24h**, **7d** or **30d** at the top right. The line under **Statistics** shows the range and how far back the data goes.

> [!NOTE]
>
> A new server only has data from when it was first started, so the charts fill up over time.

***

## The summary tiles

| Tile | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Players** | How many players were online. Some games don't report this, and then it says **not counted for this game**. |
| **CPU** | The average CPU use while the server was running. |
| **Uptime** | How much of the time the server was online, and how many restarts there were. |
| **Disk** | How much space your files use, and how fast that grows. Growth needs a few hours of data. |

***

## The charts

| Chart | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **CPU** | How hard the processor worked, and the value right now. |
| **Memory** | How much RAM the server used, and the value right now. |
| **Network** | Data coming in (**Incoming**) and going out (**Outgoing**). |

Click **View as a table** under the charts to see the same numbers as a table with the columns **Time**, **Online**, **CPU**, **Memory**, **Incoming** and **Outgoing**.

## What to look for

> **Memory keeps climbing until the server restarts**
>
> A plugin, mod or map may be using more and more memory. Restart the server regularly with a [schedule](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-configure-schedules-and-tasks.md), remove plugins you don't need, or upgrade your plan for more RAM.

> **CPU is high and players report lag**
>
> Check the times on the chart. If the CPU is high when many players are online, your server may need more resources. If it is high when nobody is playing, look in the [logs](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-read-server-logs.md) for errors.

> **Uptime is low**
>
> Your server is stopping or crashing. Set up [alerts](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-set-up-server-alerts.md) so you know when it happens, and check the [logs](https://help.freakhosting.com/portals/game-panel/how-to-read-server-logs.md).
