Think of it as mission control for all your virtual servers — a single page that shows your account health, alerts, bandwidth usage, and every server you own, all updated in real time. Let us walk through exactly what you will find here and how to make the most of it. Beginner 5 Minutes *** ## What You See When You Land When the dashboard loads, you are greeted with a **"Greetings, \[Your Name]"** heading at the top. In the upper-right corner, you will find quick links to your **Account** settings and a **Logout** button. Below the greeting, three information cards sit side by side, giving you an instant health check on your account. Below those cards, your server list takes up the rest of the page. That is the entire layout — clean, focused, and designed so you can find what you need in seconds. *** ## Dashboard Cards Explained The three cards across the top of the dashboard each serve a specific purpose. Here is what each one tells you and why it matters. ### Account Information Card The **Account** card is your identity snapshot. It confirms you are logged into the right account and shows your security status at a glance. * **Email Address** — The email linked to your control panel account. Useful for confirming which account you are in if you manage multiple. * **Two-Factor Authentication** — Displays a green **ACTIVE** badge when 2FA is enabled, or a warning when it is not. If you see anything other than that green badge, head to **Account** in the top nav to turn it on — it is one of the best things you can do to protect your servers. * **Last Login** — The exact date and time of your most recent successful login. If this ever shows a time you do not recognize, change your password immediately and contact support. * **Timezone** — Your configured timezone shown as a badge (for example, **EUROPE/LONDON**). This affects how all dates and times appear throughout the panel. You can change it in your Account settings if it does not match your local time. ### Notifications Center The **Notifications** card is your alert system. A count badge in the corner tells you how many unread notifications are waiting. * **When everything is fine**, you will see a checkmark icon and the message **"No unread notifications"** with a **0** badge. This is the ideal state — it means all your servers are running normally and nothing needs your attention. * **When something needs attention**, the badge updates with the number of unread alerts. Notifications can include server status changes (a VPS stopping unexpectedly), backup completions, scheduled maintenance windows, and system-wide announcements. * **Click the card** to expand and read your full notification history. Staying on top of these alerts helps you catch small issues before they become big problems. ### Traffic Consumption Overview The **Traffic Consumption** card gives you a visual breakdown of your total bandwidth usage across all servers on your account. The card is organized into a simple table with three columns — **IN**, **OUT**, and **TOTAL** — and two rows: * **Wk (Weekly)** — Your bandwidth consumption for the current week. For example, you might see values like **5.5 TB** inbound (green bar), **2 TB** outbound (orange bar), and **7.5 TB** total (blue bar). * **Mo (Monthly)** — The same breakdown aggregated over the entire current calendar month. Monthly figures naturally run higher — something like **16.7 TB / 18.2 TB / 34.9 TB** is perfectly normal for active servers. A small **bar chart visualization** behind the numbers gives you a quick visual sense of the proportions. The colored bars make it easy to see at a glance whether inbound or outbound traffic dominates your usage. **Why this matters:** If you notice outbound traffic suddenly spiking much higher than usual, it could indicate a misconfiguration, a DDoS reflection, or unexpected load. Checking this card regularly takes just a few seconds and can save you from surprises. *** ## Server List Below the three dashboard cards is the main event — your server list. This is where you see every VPS on your account and jump into managing any one of them. ### Server List Tabs The server list offers different views to help you find what you need quickly: The **Recent Servers** tab (highlighted in blue by default) shows the servers you have most recently accessed or interacted with. If you have just one or two servers, this is all you need — your VPS is right there every time you log in. This is the default view and is designed so you can get back to the server you were working on as fast as possible. The **Bookmarked Servers** tab (outlined button next to Recent Servers) shows only the servers you have pinned as favorites. This becomes invaluable when you manage many servers — instead of scrolling through a long list, you bookmark the three or four VPS instances you work with most and they are always one click away. **How to bookmark a server:** Look for the bookmark icon on the right side of any server row. Click it once to pin that server, and it will appear in this tab. Click it again to remove the bookmark. You will also notice a blue **All Servers** button on the right side of the tab bar. Click it to jump to the full **Servers** page where you can see every VPS on your account, use search and filtering, and manage them in bulk. ### Understanding Each Server Row Every server listed on your dashboard packs a lot of information into a single row. Here is what each element means: | Element | What It Tells You | | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | **Server Name** | The custom name assigned to your VPS (for example, "Production Web Server" or "dev-01") | | **Power Indicator** | A small colored dot next to the server name — **green** means powered on and running, **red** means powered off | | **Location** | A country flag icon followed by the city and country of the data center (for example, a UK flag with "London - United Kingdom") | | **Architecture Badge** | An orange **X86 32/64 BIT** badge showing the processor architecture | | **Memory Badge** | The amount of RAM allocated to your server (for example, "8 GB") | | **CPU Cores Badge** | The number of virtual CPU cores assigned (for example, "4 Cores") | | **Storage Badge** | Total disk space available (for example, "100 GB SSD") | | **Traffic Badge** | Your bandwidth allowance — many FREAKHOSTING plans show an infinity symbol (**TRAFFIC**) meaning unlimited bandwidth | | **Status** | A colored badge showing the current state — green **ACTIVE** means everything is running normally | | **Created** | The date your server was originally provisioned | | **IP Address** | Your server's primary public IPv4 address, displayed alongside a small terminal icon you can click for quick access | | **Manage Button** | A blue **Manage** button that takes you to the server's full management interface | | **Bookmark Icon** | Click to pin or unpin this server from your Bookmarked Servers tab | ### Server Status Indicators The **Status** badge on each server tells you its current state at a glance: * **ACTIVE** (green) — Your server is provisioned and running normally. This is the status you want to see. * **Stopped** — The server exists but is currently powered off. You can start it from the management page. * **Suspended** — The server has been suspended, usually due to a billing issue or policy matter. Contact support if you see this unexpectedly. The **power indicator dot** next to the server name gives you an additional quick signal — a green dot means the VPS is currently powered on, while a red dot means it is off. ### Managing a Server To access the full management interface for any server, click the blue **Manage** button on its row. This takes you to the server's dedicated page where you can: * Control power state (start, stop, restart, force stop) * Access the VNC or noVNC console * Configure network settings and additional IPs * Manage backups and snapshots * Reinstall or rebuild the operating system * View real-time resource graphs and usage history * And much more *** ## Top Navigation Bar The navigation bar runs across the top of every page in the panel. No matter where you are, these links are always one click away: Your home base. Click here from anywhere to return to the main overview with your account cards, notifications, and server list. The full server list page with **All Servers** and **Bookmarked Servers** tabs, plus search and filtering tools for finding specific VPS instances. Manage your SSH public keys in one place. Keys stored here can be injected into new server builds or reinstalls for secure, passwordless authentication. Your profile settings hub — change your password, enable or manage two-factor authentication, generate API tokens for automation, and configure shared access to let trusted users manage specific servers. If you have administrative privileges, you will also see an orange **Admin** link in the top navigation. This leads to the administration backend and is only visible to accounts with admin access. *** ## Quick Actions from the Dashboard You do not always need to open a server's full management page. Several useful actions are available right from the dashboard: * **Copy a server IP** — Each server's public IPv4 address is displayed directly in the list. Hover over it or click the terminal icon next to it for quick access. This is handy when you need to SSH in or update a DNS record. * **Check all server statuses at once** — The green **ACTIVE** badges and power indicator dots let you instantly confirm that all your servers are healthy without clicking into each one. * **Bookmark your key servers** — If you manage five or more VPS instances, bookmark the ones you access daily. Next time you log in, switch to the **Bookmarked Servers** tab and they are right there — no scrolling, no searching. * **Jump to the full server list** — Click the blue **All Servers** button to see every VPS on your account in one place, with search and sorting options for larger collections. * **Monitor bandwidth trends** — A quick glance at the Traffic Consumption card tells you whether your usage is normal. The weekly row is especially useful for spotting sudden changes. *** ## Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Dashboard If your account has more than a few servers, bookmarks are your best friend. Click the bookmark icon on the servers you manage most often, then use the **Bookmarked Servers** tab as your daily starting point. It saves time and keeps your workflow focused. The **Last Login** field on your Account card shows exactly when your account was last accessed. Make a habit of glancing at it each time you log in — if the date and time do not match your last session, it could indicate unauthorized access. Change your password and enable 2FA immediately if something looks off. Sudden spikes in outbound traffic can indicate a compromised server, a misconfigured application, or an unexpected surge in legitimate traffic. By checking the Traffic Consumption card regularly, you can catch these issues early. If outbound traffic jumps significantly compared to your usual baseline, investigate the cause by checking your server logs. The Account card makes it easy to verify your 2FA status — look for the green **ACTIVE** badge. If it is not there, navigate to **Account** in the top nav and enable it.
