# How to Give Someone Access to Your Websites

> Invite a developer, designer or colleague to your FREAKHOSTING web hosting panel as a Super admin or as a Collaborator on chosen websites, and resend or cancel invitations.

Need a developer or designer to work on your site? Invite them from **Team** so they get their own login. You never need to share your password, and you can remove their access at any time.

## Choose the right role

| Role | What they can do |
| - | - |
| **Super admin** | Unrestricted access to your whole account. |
| **Collaborator** | Can manage only the websites you choose. |

>
> Pick **Collaborator** unless the person really needs everything. It's safer to give access to just the website they're working on.

## Invite someone

**1. Open Team**

Click **Team** in the sidebar, or go to [web.freakhosting.com/users](https://web.freakhosting.com/users). You can also click the arrow next to **Collaborators** in **At a glance** on a website's page.

**2. Click Invite user**

Enter their **Full name** and **Email address**.

**3. Choose how to invite them**

Tick one or both:

* **Invite with email**: we email them an invitation.
* **Invite with link**: you get a link to send them yourself.

**4. Choose a role**

Click **Super admin** or **Collaborator**. If you choose **Collaborator**, a **Websites** list appears: tick each website they should manage.

**5. Click Invite**

If you chose **Invite with link**, a window shows the invitation link. Copy it now: *Make sure you save your invite link - you will not be able to access it again.*

The person appears in the **Team** list, greyed out with a clock symbol until they accept.

## Resend or cancel an invitation

Click **⋮** on the invited person's row:

* **Resend invite by email**
* **Resend invite by link**: creates a new link if you lost the first one.
* **Cancel invite**: you'll see *…invitation cancelled*.

## The Team list

The list shows each person's **Role**, whether they use **2FA** (two-factor authentication) and the **Date added**. Use **All roles** to filter and the magnifying glass to search.

### Change someone's access or remove them

Click **⋮** on the person's row to change their **role**, choose which websites a **Collaborator** can manage, or **remove** them from your account. Removing someone takes away their access to your account straight away. You can invite them again at any time.

>
> A **Super admin** can manage every website, email account and team member, but can't remove the account owner. A **Collaborator** only sees the websites you give them.

## Troubleshooting

> **They didn't get the invitation email**
>
> Ask them to check their spam folder. Otherwise use **⋮ → Resend invite by link** and send them the link yourself.

> **I lost the invitation link**
>
> The link is only shown once. Use **⋮ → Resend invite by link** to get a new one.
