How to Create a Backup on the Game Panel

Creating backups of your game server on the Game Panel is essential for safeguarding your data and settings. This guide will take you through the steps to create a backup efficiently.

Steps:

Access the Game Panel:
- Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the Game Panel.

Select Your Game Server:
- Locate your game server from the displayed list and click on Manage Server to access its management options.

Navigate to Backups:
- After logging in, select your game server from the dashboard, then proceed to Management and choose Backups.



Create a Backup:
- Within the Backups section, click on Create Backup.
- Provide a name for your backup to easily identify it later.

Optional Settings:
- Ignored Files & Directories: If there are specific files or folders you want to exclude from the backup, you can specify them here.
- For example, to ignore a directory named "logs," you would enter !logs/.
- Locked Backup: Toggle the Locked button if you want to prevent this backup from being deleted until you explicitly unlock it.

Initiate Backup Creation:
- Once you've configured the backup settings, proceed by clicking the Start Backup button to initiate the backup creation process.



Backup Confirmation:
- After the backup process is complete, you will see the backup in your gamepanel.
