Guide: How to Set Your FiveM Server Steam Web API Key

This tutorial will guide you through the process of obtaining and setting up your Steam Web API Key for your FiveM server.

1. Launch your preferred web browser and navigate to the GamePanel.

2. Once logged in, locate and select the Startup tab.

3. Visit the Steam Developer website.

4. Enter an appropriate domain name for your FiveM server in the Domain Name field. You can also leave it blank if you're not sure.

5. Copy the generated API Key to your clipboard. Keep it safe and do not share it with anyone you don't trust.

6. Return to the GamePanel's Startup tab and paste your server license key into the STEAM WEB API KEY field.

7. Now, restart your FiveM server.

Optional Step:

8. You may also add the API key in your server.cfg file.

Within the server.cfg file include your server Steam Web API key.

Example:

   set steam_webApiKey "YOUR_API_KEY"
