Guide: How to Give and Remove OP on Your Minecraft Server

To manage operator (OP) status on your Minecraft server, granting or revoking administrative privileges to players, you'll need to access the server console or commands. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Launch your preferred web browser and navigate to the GamePanel.

Once logged in, locate and select the Console tab

Give OP Status: To give a player OP status, granting them administrative privileges, type the following command in the console:

op <playername>

Replace <playername> with the Minecraft username of the player you want to give OP status to.

Remove OP Status: To remove OP status from a player, revoking their administrative privileges, type the following command in the console:

deop <playername>

Again, replace <playername> with the Minecraft username of the player you want to remove OP status from.

Verify: Once you've entered the respective command, the player's OP status will be updated accordingly.

That's it! You've successfully managed OP status on your Minecraft server. Remember to only grant OP to players you trust, and promptly remove it from those who no longer require administrative privileges.
