How To Set Up A Whitelist on Your Minecraft Server

Guide: How To Set Up A Whitelist on Your Minecraft Server

Here's how you can set up a whitelist on your Minecraft server using commands in the console:

  1. Launch your preferred web browser and navigate to the GamePanel.

  1. Once logged in, locate and select the Console tab.

  1. Enable the Whitelist: In the console, type the command to enable the whitelist:
whitelist on

  1. Add Players to the Whitelist: To add players to the whitelist, use the command:
whitelist add <playername>

Replace <playername> with the Minecraft username of the player you want to whitelist. You can repeat this command for each player you want to add.

  1. Save Changes: The whitelist is automatically saved after each command, so no further action is needed to save changes.

  1. Restart Your Server: To ensure the whitelist is active, restart your Minecraft server.

  1. Verify: Once your server has restarted, only the players listed in the whitelist will be able to join your Minecraft server. Other players will be denied access.

That's it! You've successfully set up a whitelist on your Minecraft server using commands in the console. Now only the players you've whitelisted will be able to join your server.

Useful Commands:

To add a player to your whitelist ``whitelist add <playername>``

To remove a player from your whitelist ``whitelist remove <playername>``

To view players on your whitelist ``whitelist list``

To turn off the whitelist ``whitelist off``
