Increasing Server Visibility

Announcing your server to the public Alt:V masterlist is essential for growth. This guide explains how to configure your listing so players can find you in the server browser.

Configuration Settings

Open your server.cfg file and update the following fields:
  1. Announce: Set announce: true to enable visibility.
  2. Tags: Use the tags: [] array to define searchable keywords.
    • Example: tags: ['Roleplay', 'English', 'Economy']
  3. Identity Token: Some masterlist tiers may require an identity token generated from the Alt:V Hub.

Search Optimization

Choose tags that accurately reflect your server’s content. “Roleplay” and your community’s language are the two most important tags for recruitment.
