Introduction

Icarus Dedicated Servers allow you to run persistent “Open World” prospects or “Outposts”. The configuration is handled via ServerSettings.ini.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to /Icarus/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ (or LinuxServer).
  2. Open ServerSettings.ini.
  3. SessionName: “FREAKHOSTING World”.
  4. JoinPassword: Set strict.
  5. AdminPassword: Set strict.

Difficulty Tuning

Icarus doesn’t use a simple “Easy/Hard” switch. You modify ExperienceMultiplier.
  • GlobalExperienceMultiplier=1.5 (50% faster leveling).

Keep backups of the /Saved/ folder. Icarus writes to disk frequently.
