Introduction

RAGE Multiplayer (GTA V) uses conf.json for all settings.

Configuration

  1. Open conf.json in root.
  2. name: Server Hostname.
  3. dlimit: Dimension Limit.
  4. announce: true (Show in master list).
  5. gamemode: The name of the gamemode resource folder (e.g., “freeroam”).

Resources

RAGE uses C# or JS bridges.
  • Place resources in /client_packages/ (Client side) and /packages/ (Server side).

Conclusion

RAGE is lightweight compared to FiveM but requires more coding knowledge (C#/JS) to set up a gamemode from scratch.
