Collaborative Server Management

Adding a sub-user to the FREAKHOSTING Game Panel allows you to grant specific management access to others while retaining ultimate control over your server. This feature is indispensable for community managers, server developers, and staff members who require access to the console or file system to maintain your gaming environment.

Accessing User Management

Follow these steps to initialize the invitation process.

Select Your Server

Log in to the Game Panel and click on the specific server you wish to manage.

Navigate to Users

In the sidebar menu, click on Configuration and select the Users option.

Initialize New User

Click the New User button located in the top right corner of the user list.

Configuring Granular Permissions

Our panel allows for precise control over what a sub-user can see and modify.

Identify Recipient

In the User Email field, enter the email address of the individual you wish to invite.

Assign Permissions

Select from the available permission categories:
  • Console: Access to real-time logs and command execution.
  • File Manager: Ability to edit, upload, or delete game data.
  • Backups: Control over creating and restoring server snapshots.
  • Databases: Management of associated MySQL databases.

Send Invitation

Click Invite User. The recipient will receive an email instructions on how to set up their own password and access your server.

Security Best Practices

Always grant the minimum level of access required for a staff member to perform their specific duty. For example, a moderator may need console access but should rarely require the ability to delete the entire server database.
You can modify or revoke a sub-user’s permissions at any time by clicking the Edit or Delete icons next to their name in the Users list. This ensures your server remains secure if a staff member leaves your team.

Email Verification

The invited sub-user must use the link provided in their invitation email to activate their account. If they already have an existing FREAKHOSTING Game Panel account, the server will simply appear in their dashboard immediately.
