To spawn an item in Unturned, become an admin, open the chat and type /i <id> [amount], for example /i 363 for a Maplestrike or /i 81 5 for five MREs. /i is a RocketMod command and RocketMod is already installed on FREAKHOSTING Unturned servers. The game’s own /give <id> works too, but only when Cheats is in Commands.dat.

  • Type commands with /. On our servers RocketMod handles chat commands, so @ doesn’t run them.

How to spawn an item

Join as admin

Join your server with an admin account.

Type the command

Open the chat and type /i 389 3. The chat says “Giving you item 3x Antibiotics (389)”.

Check your inventory

The items go into your inventory. If it is full, they drop at your feet.
The amount is optional; without it you get one item. You can type part of the name instead of the ID, for example /i maplestrike. RocketMod picks the item with the shortest matching name, so an ID is more reliable. To use /give instead, stop the server, add a line Cheats to Servers/PterodactylUnturned/Server/Commands.dat (Game settings > Commands.dat: open the raw file) and start it again. To give an item to someone else, put their name first: /give PlayerName/15.

How to limit what players can spawn

RocketMod can block items and cap amounts. Open Servers/PterodactylUnturned/Rocket/Rocket.Unturned.config.xml: Admins skip these checks. Restart the server after editing the file. See permission groups.

Do I need cheats to spawn items in Unturned?

Not with /i. It only needs admin rights or the rocket.i permission. The game’s own /give needs Cheats in Commands.dat.

What is the most I can spawn with one command?

/i takes an amount up to 255. If EnableItemSpawnLimit is on, the limit is MaxSpawnAmount for players who aren’t admins.

Why does /i say “Invalid parameter”?

The ID doesn’t exist or the amount isn’t a number. Use one ID and one number, for example /i 15 2.

How do I change how much loot spawns on the map?
