To spawn a vehicle in Unturned, become an admin on the server, open the chat and type /v <id>, for example /v 33 for a Police Car. /v is a RocketMod command, and RocketMod is already installed on FREAKHOSTING Unturned servers. The game’s own command /vehicle <id> does the same but only works when Cheats is in Commands.dat. The vehicle appears in front of you.

Join the server as admin

Join your server and make sure you have admin rights.

Open the chat

Open the in-game chat.

Type /v and the ID

Type /v 33 and press Enter. The chat says “Giving you a Police Car (33)” and the car appears in front of you.
You can also type part of the vehicle’s name instead of the ID, for example /v bus. RocketMod picks the first vehicle whose name contains that text, so an ID is more reliable.

How to spawn a vehicle with /vehicle (vanilla)

The game’s own command is a cheat command, so it needs Cheats in Commands.dat:

Stop the server

Stop the server. Cheats only works when it is read at startup.

Add Cheats

Open Game settings and click Commands.dat: open the raw file, or open Servers/PterodactylUnturned/Server/Commands.dat in the File Manager. Add a line with only the word Cheats and save.

Start the server and spawn

Start the server, join as admin and type /vehicle 140 for a Fighter Jet. To spawn a vehicle in front of another player, add their name first: /vehicle PlayerName/140.

Unturned vehicle IDs

These IDs come from the game files of Unturned 3.26.3.13. Vehicles with eight colours have one ID per colour, in this order: black, blue, green, orange, purple, red, white, yellow.

Do I need cheats to spawn vehicles on my Unturned server?

Not with /v. RocketMod’s /v only needs admin rights or the rocket.v permission. The game’s own /vehicle command needs Cheats in Commands.dat.

Can normal players spawn vehicles?

Only if you give them the permission. Add v to a group in Permissions.config.xml; the default VIP group has v with a 30-second cooldown. See RocketMod permissions.

Do vehicles respawn on their own?

Yes. Vehicle respawn in Game settings sets how many seconds a destroyed vehicle takes to respawn (300 by default). Vehicle decay time sets when an unused vehicle starts to decay. See game settings.

How do I spawn items instead of vehicles?

Use /i <id> [amount], for example /i 81 5 for five MREs. See item IDs.
