How to Get and Set a CS2 GSLT Token on Your Server
Create a CS2 GSLT token on Steam with App ID 730 and paste it into Server settings so your Counter-Strike 2 server shows up in the community server browser.
A CS2 GSLT token (Game Server Login Token) lets your Counter-Strike 2 server log in to Steam so it appears in the server browser. Create one at steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers with App ID 730, paste it into Server settings > Game server login token, click Review and save and restart the server.
Open your server and click Server settings under COUNTER-STRIKE 2 in the sidebar.

Paste the token
In Basics, paste the token into Game server login token.

Review and save
Click Review and save, then Save changes. Tokens are hidden in the review window.

Restart the server
Restart the server so it logs in to Steam with the new token.
The token is saved to the Startup variable STEAM_ACC, and the panel passes it to the game at every start. You can also paste it into the Game Server Login Token (GSLT) variable on the Startup page. On a self-run server, the same thing is done with the launch option +sv_setsteamaccount <TOKEN>.
Look at the Checks box at the top of Server settings. If it shows The token does not look right, the token is not 32 letters and digits (0–9, A–F). Copy it again from the Steam page.
Steam expires a token that goes unused for a long time. A Steam password reset through Steam Support also regenerates all your tokens. Create or regenerate the token on the Steam page and paste the new one into Server settings.
Tested by the FREAKHOSTING team on our Game Panel on 29 October 2026 (Counter-Strike 2 with CounterStrikeSharp 1.0.378 and Metamod:Source build 1483). Steps may differ slightly if the game or its plugins change.
