TShock is the industry-standard replacement that provides these tools while remaining fully compatible with vanilla game clients.

Installation via Panel
On FREAKHOSTING, installing TShock is a streamlined process:- Startup Settings: Navigate to your Startup tab.
- Server Version: Select TShock from the version dropdown menu.
- Restart: Boot the server. The panel will automatically download the necessary libraries and the
TShock.Server.exe.
The Authorization Code
The first time you boot TShock, it will generate a unique security token in the console. You must use this to grant yourself “SuperAdmin” status.- Watch the Console: Monitor the logs for a line that says:
To become SuperAdmin, type /setup [9-Digit-Code] - Join the Game: Launch Terraria on your PC and join your server.
- Run the Command: Type the
/setupcommand (including the code) into the in-game chat. - Register: Once authorized, use
/register <Password>and/login <Password>to secure your account.
