Documents\American Truck Simulator\config.cfg and set uset g_console "1" and uset g_developer "1". Start the game and press ~ to open it. Useful commands include g_set_time, g_set_weather, warp, uset and export_server_packages. The console works in your own game; on a convoy server, moderators use chat commands instead.

Frequently asked questions
Why doesn’t the console open when I press ~?
Check both lines inconfig.cfg and edit the file with the game closed. On some keyboard layouts the key under Esc has a different symbol; it is the same key.
My config.cfg changes disappear. Why?
The game can overwriteconfig.cfg while it runs or when it closes. Close the game first, then edit and save the file.
Can I use the developer console on my convoy server?
Not to change the session. The developer console changes only your own game. On your server, moderators use/set_time and /set_rain_factor in the chat.
