Once you have SourceMod installed and configured, the Admin Menu becomes your primary tool for moderation. It allows you to quickly punish trolls, change maps, and adjust server variables without memorizing complex console commands.

1. Quick Access (Binding)
Typingsm_admin into your console every time you need to kick someone is inefficient. We recommend binding the menu to a specific key:
- Open your game’s Developer Console (
~). - Type:
bind p sm_admin - Now, pressing the P key while in-game will instantly toggle the administrative interface.
2. Menu Sections
- Player Management: Slay (kill) a player, slap them (move/damage), or perform a Kick/Ban.
- Voting: Start an official server vote to change the campaign, restart the level, or enable “All-Talk” voice chat.
- Server CVARs: Adjust gravity, enable/disable cheats, or change the game difficulty without restarting.
