To unban a player on a Mordhau server, connect with RCON, run BanList to find the player’s PlayFab ID and run Unban <PlayFabID>. Without RCON, stop the server, open Mordhau/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini in Files, delete the BannedPlayers= line that contains the player’s ID, click Save Content and start the server again.

Connect with your RCON client

Connect to your server’s address and RCON port with your RCON password.

List the bans

Run BanList. It lists the banned players.

Run Unban with the ID, for example:

Stop the server

Stop the server so the game doesn’t write the list back while you edit it.

Open Game.ini

In Files, open Mordhau > Saved > Config > LinuxServer > Game.ini.

Find the ban

Search for BannedPlayers=. Each ban is one line. Find the line with the player’s ID.

Delete the line

Delete that whole line. Leave the other bans as they are.

Save and start

Click Save Content and start the server. The player can join again.
If you delete the wrong line, open History in the file editor and restore the earlier version.

How to unmute a player

Mutes work the same way. With RCON, run MuteList and then Unmute <PlayFabID>. In the file, delete the player’s MutedPlayers= line with the server stopped.

How long does a Mordhau ban last?

You choose when you ban. With RCON, Ban <player name or PlayFab ID> <reason> <duration> takes the duration in minutes, and 0 means permanent. A timed ban ends on its own, so you only need to unban permanent bans or mistakes.

How do I find a player’s PlayFab ID?

With RCON, PlayerList shows the players on the server with their PlayFab IDs. BanList lists the banned players.

Does the official ban list affect my server?

Game.ini has a bUseOfficialBanList setting. It is set to False on your server, so only the bans in your own list apply.

Can I clear all bans at once?

Yes. With the server stopped, delete every BannedPlayers= line in Game.ini, save and start. Make a backup first.
