export_server_packages in the console and upload the new server_packages.sii and server_packages.dat to your FREAKHOSTING server. Every player needs the same C2C version and load order, because map mods can never be optional in multiplayer.
Before you start
- Coast to Coast is a community map mod, not made by SCS or FREAKHOSTING. Download it only from the author’s official page, and read its notes for the game version and the DLC it needs.
- Use the C2C version made for your game version. The server must run the same game version (keep Auto update on).
- Make a panel backup before you change the server’s packages.
How to install C2C in your own game

Add the files
Copy the C2C files into
Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod.2
Activate in Mod Manager
Select your profile, open Mod Manager, activate C2C and the other files it ships with, in the order its author gives.

Test in single player
Load the profile and drive a short way to check the map loads. Map mods change the world, so the author may recommend a new profile.

Export the packages
With C2C active and the profile loaded, press
~ and type export_server_packages. The console must be on; see export server packages.2
Stop the server

Upload both files
In Files, open
.local > share > American Truck Simulator and upload server_packages.sii and server_packages.dat, replacing the old ones.4
Start and check
Start the server and check
[MP] Map name: and [MP] Modded session: in the console.5
Share your mod list
Send players the exact C2C version and load order. Each player activates it in their Mod Manager before joining.
Why must every player have the map?
SCS documents that map mods ignore the optional-mod setting. A player without C2C, or with a different version or order, can’t drive the same world as the server.mods_optioning doesn’t change this.

Do I upload the C2C mod files to the server?
No. The server only needs the two exported package files. The map files stay on each player’s PC.C2C updated. What do I do?
