The Configuration Files

  1. GameUserSettings.ini (GUS): Handles basic environmental rules like taming speed and harvest amounts.
  2. Game.ini: Manages advanced logic such as per-level stat gains and engram overrides.

Essential Multipliers (GUS.ini)

Add these under the [ServerSettings] header to change gameplay speed:
  • Progression:
    • TamingSpeedMultiplier=5.0 (5x faster taming).
    • HarvestAmountMultiplier=3.0 (3x more resources gathered).
    • XPMultiplier=2.0 (Double experience).
  • Breeding (Counter-Intuitive Logic):
    • MatingIntervalMultiplier=0.1 (Lower is faster - reduces cooldown between mating).
    • EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=10.0 (Higher is faster).
    • BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=10.0 (Higher is faster).

Imprinting Balance

If you increase your BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier, you must decrease the cuddle interval, or the creature will grow up before it can be imprinted:
  • Rule: If mature speed is 10x, set BabyCuddleIntervalMultiplier=0.1.
