Customizing Loot Tables

Editing Ark’s supply crate configuration manually is extremely difficult due to nested parentheses and complex syntax. We strongly recommend using Beacon Omni to manage your loot tables.

Workflow with Beacon

  1. Project Setup: Download Beacon Omni for Windows and create a New Project.
  2. Select Drops: Choose the specific crates you wish to override (e.g., Red Drops, Cave Crates).
  3. Add Items: Select your items, set the desired quantity, quality range, and probability of appearance.
  4. Export: Click the Export button and select the Game.ini format.

Applying the Configuration

  1. Stop your Ark server.
  2. Open your Game.ini file via the panel’s File Manager.
  3. Paste the generated ConfigOverrideSupplyCrateItems block at the bottom of the file.
  4. Save and restart the server.
