Content Injection: Mods & Scenarios
The lifeblood of Arma 3 is its community. Whether you are running a casual “King of the Hill” server or a hardcore “Milsim” unit, you will need to install custom modifications (@Mods) and mission files (.pbo).

Installing Mods (@ModName)
- Download: Subscribe to the mod on the Steam Workshop, then locate the folder on your PC.
- Structure: A proper mod folder (e.g.,
@ACE3) contains subfolders likeaddonsandkeys. - Upload: Upload the entire folder to the root directory of your game server via SFTP.
- Keys: Copy the
.bikeyfiles from the mod’skeysfolder to the server’s/keys/folder. - Activate: Add the folder name to your startup parameters.

Installing Missions (Mission.Map.pbo)
A mission file is a single package containing the scripts, unit placements, and objectives for a specific scenario.
- Locate: Find your
.pbofile (e.g.,MyOperation.Altis.pbo). - Upload: Place this file into the
/mpmissions/directory on the server. - Config (Optional): If you want it to load automatically, edit the
class Missionsblock in yourserver.cfg.
