Navigation DLC Dependencies
Unlike standard multiplayer games, Euro Truck Simulator 2 dependencies are strictly tied to the map data used by the server. If your server utilizes a region from a DLC (such as Iberia or West Balkans) that a joining player does not own, they will be unable to synchronize with the session.

The “Base Map” Rule
If you wish to host a server that is accessible to the maximum number of people, you must generate yourserver_packages.sii using a game client that holds only the Base Map files.
- On your PC, disable all Map DLCs in your Steam Properties.
- Launch the game and use the “Export Server Packages” tool.
- Upload the resulting
server_packages.siito your FREAKHOSTING instance.
Handling Cosmetic DLCs
Cosmetic items (Paint jobs, Cabin accessories, and Wheel tuning) are handled gracefully by the engine.- If a player owns a DLC paint job that another player does not, the other player will simply see a plain white or gray truck.
- This does not prevent anyone from joining the lobby.
