How to Install ProMods for Multiplayer in ETS2

Expanding the Map

ProMods is the most popular map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, adding thousands of kilometers of new roads, cities, and realistic landmarks. Running ProMods on a dedicated server requires perfect synchronization between the server and every player joining.

1. Server Requirements

• Map DLCs: To run the latest ProMods, your server MUST have all major Map DLCs (Going East, Scandinavia, France, Italy, Baltic, Black Sea, Iberia, and Balkans).
• RAM: A ProMods world instance can consume over 10GB of RAM during peak traversal. We highly recommend a FREAKHOSTING Extreme plan.

2. Installation Steps

1. Upload all ProMods .scs files (Assets, Model 1-3, Map, Media, and your custom Def file) to the server’s /mod/ directory.
2. In your server_packages.sii, the entries must match your local mod manifest exactly.
3. The Load Order is critical. Ensure the .def file is at the top of the list to prevent crashes during city initialization.
