New to mods? Pick a vanilla-plus pack such as Better MC or Vanilla Perfected. The game still feels like Minecraft.
Love automation and long progression? ATM10 or Craftoria give you hundreds of hours of machines and quests.
Want a story? Prominence II has an RPG world with quests and bosses.
Pokémon fans? COBBLEVERSE is built on the Cobblemon mod.
Older PC in the group? Light packs run better for players too, not just the server.
Every player needs the same modpack and version on their own game. They can install it with the CurseForge app, the Modrinth app, the FTB app or a launcher such as Prism Launcher.
Open your server in the Game Panel and click Modpacks.

Find the pack
Choose the Source (CurseForge, Modrinth or Feed The Beast) and search for the pack name.

Pick a version
Click the pack, then Install next to a version. Versions without a server pack can’t be installed and say so.

Check the options and install
Keep Back up the server first on. Switch on Accept EULA only if you have read and accept the Minecraft EULA. Click Install modpack.
The panel installs the right Minecraft version and loader through Version Changer and skips client-only files. For every option, see how to install a modpack.
The version has no server pack on CurseForge. The dialog says This version has no server pack on CurseForge, so it cannot be installed on a server. Pick another version, or check whether the pack is also on Modrinth.
Yes, on the Mods page. Players must add the same mods to their game if the mods add content. Keep a backup, because extra mods can clash with the pack.
The worlds of different modpacks are not compatible: blocks and items from mods that are missing disappear. Make a backup and start a fresh world for a new pack.
Checked against the official CurseForge and Modrinth modpack pages on 29 October 2026, and the install steps tested on our Game Panel (Minecraft 26.1, Paper and Fabric). Pack details change when authors update them.
