The Contenders
1. Dynmap (The Top-Down Classic)
Dynmap is the “Google Maps” of Minecraft. It generates 2D and 2.5D (isometric) tiles.
- Pros: Extremely reliable, low browser impact for users, works on older devices.
- Cons: Flat looks; uses a massive amount of small files on your storage.
- Best For: Large Survival and Faction servers.
2. BlueMap (The 3D Modernist)
BlueMap creates a full 3D rendering of your world. You can rotate, zoom, and fly through the map as if you were in creative mode.
- Pros: Modern, stunning visuals, high “WOW” factor.
- Cons: High CPU load during initial render; requires a modern GPU on the user’s browser (WebGL).
- Best For: Creative servers and RPG worlds.
Resource Impact
| Feature | Dynmap | BlueMap |

| CPU Usage | Moderate | High (Rendering) |
