Sons of the Forest item IDs are numbers you use with the console command additem <id>, which puts the item in your inventory, or spawnitem <id>, which drops it next to you. The shovel is 485, the rope gun 522, the rebreather 444, the compact pistol 355 and a log 78. Open the console with cheatstick and F1; on a dedicated server the world must be created with cheats on.

Before you start

  • On your server, cheats must be on: a custom game mode world created with "GameSetting.Multiplayer.Cheats": true. See how to enable console commands.
  • additem fails when your inventory slot for that item is full.

How to spawn items in Sons of the Forest

Open the console

While playing on your server, type cheatstick (no text box appears), then press F1.

Type the command

Type additem and the ID, then press Enter:

Close the console

Press F1 again. The item is in your inventory.
Use the number rather than the name, because some names appear more than once.
